Women's Open WrapUp

UCLA are your women's open champions for 2015.  They started dominant in their group outscoring UW-Milwaukee and Penn by a combined score of 7-0.  UCLA earned an efficient 0-0 draw with Central Florida to win their group and advance to the playoff bracket.

UCLA started bracket play with a comfortable 3-0 win over Vermont.  Then a tough battle with UConn where they had to come from behind to tie in regulation and earn the win in extra time.

The final over James Madison reverted back to comfortable with 2-0 win to claim the women's open championship.

UCLA was led by tournament MVP Isis Piccillo and most outstanding goalkeeper Nina Chikanov.  Kayla Arjasbi and Fiona Kennedy rounded up their placing on the all tournament team with their performances.

The rest of the All Tournament team includes:

Kathryn Roman-James Madison
Kendall Jones-James Madison
Rose Sommovigo-James Madison
Kristen Dragotta-UConn
Kelleigh Cokely-UConn
Anne Dovolis-Boston College
Caitlin Keenan-Boston College
